Our most recent addition is our stretch Volkswagen. When the shuttling season slows down it is time to pull out the Sawsall and start chopping up the ‘wagens. For this rig, we took two vehicles, cut them apart and welded the two longer sections together. From there, we did a little engine work, a little magic with bondo, added some color, some stickers, a nifty rack and viola! a 12 seater Volkswagen. Gangrene Her name doesn’t say much about her beauty. The ultimate off-road workhorse, this Mercedes tractor is considered the most capable four-wheel drive vehicle made. She boasts 6 more inches of travel than a Humvee. She can also carry up to 15 passengers, their bikes, canoes or whatever.
This behemoth is an original Moab creation. A 10 wheel drive army truck, this "school bus" can hold up to 30 people and bikes.
Our favorite daily shuttler, this Volkwagen keeps on goin’ and going’. Gotta love that German engineering. We actually have more vehicles (scary) but these our faves. All work on the vehicles is done here at the Coyote Shuttle headquarters. All of our Volkswagen parts are recycled, reused and rebuilt from our Volkswagen supply room (our backyard). We strive to keep our Volkswagens alive forever. As you may know, Jesse knows a thing or two about these cars. All fabrication of the truck racks, bike racks and trailers is also done here at the shop. |
